The Aluminum Fishing Series #TinRig

The Aluminum Fishing Series is a team trail formatted series of events that stretch all the way from New Hampshire to Alabama. This trail offers standardized 8 event regular season events and a championship. We spoke to Director Chris Martin about his vision for this trail:

“I want this trail to be a place for the younger generation to join and get into competitive bass fishing at a fraction of the cost of owning a fully rigged fiberglass rig, and for the older generation to keep their lines wet with some friendly competition.  I want this to be an affordable place for fishermen to enjoy themselves and bond with other aluminum boat owners without (having to spend) thousands of dollars out of pocket.  I want this to be the BEST small amateur tournament trail in the nation!  With 7 states on board this season (doubling in size since 2021), we are well on our way!  The way the aluminum boat market is right now, I can see this thing expanding into every state.  I also believe that (we can) be incredibly impactful in the aluminum market for those mid-size rigs with 60-150 HP engines.”

This trail started back in 2016 in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee with 6 boats entering the event. Now this trail is giving away almost $50,000 in prize money across 7 states and has almost 200 active members and growing.
